Visual SourceSafe Automation (Microsoft.VisualStudio.SourceSafe.Interop)

Can anyone help me with Microsoft.VisualStudio.SourceSafe.Interop?

I have Visual Studio.net 2003. I am trying to develop an application in VB.net that will check-in/out files from Source Safe. In order to accomplish my objective I need to add a reference Microsoft.VisualStudio.SourceSafe.Interop to my project. I can't find it. Any ideas?

Did you notice that that's the documentation for VS 2005 and .NET 2.0 you have linked to. Chances are that if you can't find it then it doesn't exist in VS.NET 2003 and .NET 1.1. I'd say that you'll need to start developing your app in a 2005 IDE.

I wonder if there is an object that would help me manage VSS from VB.net 2003, or any download that would do the triick. Thanks for the info... I'll definetely save me some senseless searching time.

You may be able to interop with VSS using COM like you do with Office. I can't say for sure, though. Even if you can, I'd say help info would be harder to come by than it is for Office.
