Sound Capture and Streaming in VB.NET

I just need to know how to capture Audio from a microphone using a VB.NET application. Is there any way to use the Windows Media Audio Codec in the program or what else may help. Instruct Me friends. JMF - Java Media Framework has its own Methods and properties that can be used to capture Media and stream it. Is Windows Media Encoder is of that kind. Plz Explain. I don't know where to start.
