I want to make a program that will let me pull things like ( usernames + passwords + a little other info ) from a database I can host off the internet. Im not a VB pro but im not too bad… I have never worked with any type of database other then a little bit of SQL. I was told that XML is a good way to do what I want to do. Is this true? And would I be able to update my database at anytime and then the next time the application is open the new information will be there?
If anyone has any tutorials or knows of any books how I can learn to do this please let me know. Any help would be great.
