Thank you to the moderator for moving my post to the "proper forum". This begs the question: Why are there two forms with the same name of "VB.Net General Discussion". I would think that one forum dedicated to the general discussion of VB.Net would be enough. Apparently not. This confusion must lead to a lot of moved posts.

Have a look through the index page again. VB.Net Forums are divided up in sections like these:
  • Visual Studio .NET
  • VB.NET
  • ASP.NET
  • Compact Framework
  • Database
  • Components/Controls
  • etc...
Each section has a General forum and several more specialized forums.

Your last post regarding AD accounts was posted in VB.NET General forum (there is only one), and was moved to the more appropriate Security forum in same section. A redirect link (expires) was left were you originally posted the thread.

It is true there are a lot of moved threads here, which is mostly due to many newcomers not seeing how the forums are laid out right away and jumping into 'first forum', or perhaps not having a clear picture of what exactly their request pertains. This is also reflected in many cases of not very good thread titles, which should be provided to give a short description of the topic of the thread/request.
