I am starting an introductory course in programming in January. The course uses C++. I have several versions of Visual Studio that seem to be working, but the course will rquire us to use DEV-C++. I have downloaded it from the site specified by the curriulum, but I am having difficulty getting it to work. I think that I managed to download it twice, and the guidance said not to download it if it was already on my machine. I would like to wipe it off my machine and try to start over, and have tried to do so, but I am still having problems and thought that maybe I have inadvertently left DEV-C++ files on the machine. Can anybody tell me how I can make sure I get rid of all of them, if there is an easy way that even I can understand?
I can us any help I can get, as I am not a programmer, and perhaps not even proficient as an operator, but I'd like to try to do this.

Thanks, people!

We don't have C++ forum at this site, this is "The Exclusive VB.Net Community".
