How to make random output?

Hi, I am new here and very new to VB.NET. My primary experience is web design and development. I became interested in VB.NET while taking a class in it basically because I had to in order to get my college credits. Now I'm hooked.

I have what is probably a simple question, but I didn't know how to phrase it in a Google search to find the answer, so I figured I'd start in some forums...

I want to create an app where the user clicks a button and a randomly chosen response appears in the form. There would be a list of these responses that the program would choose from at the time that the user clicks the button, and the user would get a different one each time hopefully. This has got to be simple I am thinking, but I have no idea where to start.

Easy to get hooked on VB.Net true! The Random class is your best choice, and its Next method (to select a random number/item of a array/collection), see documentation about this locally or online here: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.random.aspx
