How can i upgrade my vb6 application to vb.net?

In vb.net 2003 there is a vb upgrade wizard that does it for you. There maybe something like that in vb.net 2005. Check out the help files and query 'vb upgrade'
Just open the project and it will be upgraded for you. Note though that the overwhelming consensus is that using the wizard to upgrade a VB6 application is a bad idea. The code produced is just so riddled with cr*p that it's not worth using. It will probably contain issues that you will need to address anyway and working with the code in future will either require you to rewrite chunks of it or else perpetuate bad coding habits. This is not the fault of the wizard. It's just that there are so many differences that it's not possible to make a seamless upgrade. Most would suggest that you simply rewrite the app as it will quite possibly not take you significantly more time and you'll end up learning more and wind up with better code at the end of it.
