Question #ExternalSource Directive

Do anyone have idea about #ExternalSource directive in vb.net? If yes, please tell how it is used in a programme? and why it should be used? Thanks.

It shouldn't be used. It's basically for use by development tools and not developers. Check the documentation for the #line directive from C#. That's documentation is more extensive and that directive does basically the same thing as #ExternalSource in VB.
