Question vBulletin Login through code

Hello, I have been trying for a long time to make an application only available to members of a website.

I've been looking at http://www.vbdotnetforums.com/secur...uthorization-system-problem-http-request.html for a while, but can't understand it very much.

I honestly don't know where to start. I think that vBulletin logs in like this:

www.mysite.com/forums/login.php?login=do&username+md5pass&password

So, be reading the thread (link above) I assume you need to use GET and POST requests, but like I said, I don't know where to begin.
