1. I am trying to access an MS access DB from a server through a workgroup file and i get the following error message: The workgroup information file is missing or opened exclusively by another user.
2. I'm trying to create a program where the treeview list updates an Ms Access DB, any ideas?

The workgroup information file is missing or opened exclusively by another user.

Try user-level security wizard in access and DO NOT rename workgroup file, just leave it as Security.mdw and then it should work.
It worked for me.
