We are developing client-based application in Visual Basic 2005 with backend SQL Server 2005 Express or MySQL server 4.1 (still considering).
I would like to know which server is better for an application that shared database in LAN.
What is the dsn-less connection string for this and also tell me what are all the support files is needed to install SQL Server 2005 Express database in our client machine (bascially this is useful to deploy this application in our client machine)
How to connect to the database that locate in another pc in LAN?
