recieving an error

hey guys, i tried creating a new project using c# as an asp.net application, but when it tried to create it, i recieved an arror saying

"The web server reported the following error when attempting to create or open the web project located at the following url: <A href="http://localhost/webapplication1"">"http://localhost/webapplication1""

any suggestions?

yes, IIS....

create a new virtual directory and and map ur path using the inetmgr , by creating an application. have u done it??
