Hi,
Our company, in order to identify servers that are underutilized, has asked me to come up with a means to do so. I wonder if there is a way in vb.net to write code to pull performance data into flat files to be collected at a later time for further analysis?
I am an experienced DBA (mainly doing SQL Server) but not an experienced .net programmer. I have done a little of vb in the past (5.0 and a recent programin .net) and honestly love the language.
I appreciate any suggestions you may have.
Thank you,
Ivan
