Question Packaged well But Continue to look for the Installer

Hi
I built a windows application, compiled,ran and packaged successfully.
But after few day the .exe will start to ask for .msi packaged file.
Or mistakenly I replace the existing .exe with new built file from the same project, it will outrightly reject it and start asking for the original msi.
So I hv to uninstall and start again.

I have been doing same with vb6.0 why dotnet is giving me the problem?

Please help me very urgently
