I have been asked something today which I have never had to do, so I am completely open to ideas on how to go about it.
I wrote a helpdesk application a while back and I have been asked to extend it, so when an email goes into an IT mailbox, it automatically raises an incident in the helpdesk. Essentially this means inserting a record into the database based on a MS Exchange event (mailox mail recieved).
Not really after code samples here, more after ideas on how to manage it. I have never played with Exchange too much and googling hasn't helped much.
