MSDOS replace function

Hello to practice VB.net I have told to create a console that acts similar to the MSDOS replace function, and that has a tick box that can delete the file location if ticked, not sure where to start I haven’t touch VB in 3 years.

Can anybody assist me? Or have they used the MSDOS replace function as I looked in MS dos help and it just came up with replace file.

If you open a command prompt and type "replace /?" it gives you help for the replace function, including valid switches. There can't be two replace functions so that must be what the person was talking about.

I have not been doing vb for a while and am struggling getting back into it, if anybody is interested please could they help me develop a command line base application like msdos replace to help me relearn vb.net I am willing to pay. Urgent

I suggest that you follow any or all of the tutorial links in my signature and work through them from start to finish. Do that and you'll be learning.
