Remoting noob here.
I want to build a simple messenger just to learn how it all works. I don't need anything great, just to send and recieve text with my buddy online. This messenger will not go on network, I simply want to give it to my friend and have him install it. Then myself and him and chat. I just want to do this to learn. Please help me with source code, books, websites. I basically need a general direction to start learning. Point me the way and I will get to work. Thanks all....
