How can I authenticate users against a Kerberos/LDAP DB using my own Login Form?

Due to the projects' specs I cannot use Windows' Built-in Kerberos Authentication. I need to write the code for authentication against kerberos /LDAP but have had no luck in finding any examples on the web. I do know how to perform authentication against users stored in Oracle, SQL and Access Databases but Kerberos/LDAP is kicking my @ss!

You may want to check out 'Improving web application security' as well. Both are available as free downloadable pdf files, and contain everything you need.
