Help: I think it is array issue

I have this code and am trying to make it show a red box in a square for 5 seconds with a timer. I have coded the boxes as array but can not seem to make the random number generate the values for the array to be indexed. I am using random number as part of the hint for this project so the same box is less likely to be shown twice in a row
