Email through default program

I'm trying to send an email by just having all the fields (to, subject, body) placed into a new message in the default mail program (lotus notes). I can do this the "mailto:" way except in only allows a small number of characters I guess.

I need it to be able to load a large body section. Any suggestions? I'm not trying to SMTP this, just have it open in their defualt mail app.
