Question Cannot start Configuration Manager

I have SQL 2008 R2 Express.

It seems to be working OK, but I'm wondering what's in Configuration Manager.

When I try Configuration Tools, SQL Configuration Manager, I get an error message:
"Cannot connect to WMI provider. You do not have permission or the server is unreachable... the specified module could not be found."

What causes this problem and how do I fix it?

I've read about this:

mofcomp c:\program files\microsoft sql server\100\shared\sqlmgmproviderxpsp2up.mof

which I've done. But I still get the same error message.

Any suggestions?
