ASP.NET version 1.1 not installed

Hi could any one help?
I get following message when trying to create a web project in .net

Specified web server is not running ASP.NET version 1.1 unable to run ASP.NET web applications


i have installed redistributable 1.1 but still nogo

any advice would be great help thanx.

Download ASP.NET 2.0 Beta form microsoft web page and try it again... It must be work...

There's a special file you have to run RegIISdotnet or some such in order to get IIS to recognize the framework.
