Word in VB.net

Could someone point me in the right direction?
I am looking to create a word document from my vb.net application. This needs to be a formatted document with our company's logo.
What is the best way to do this? Using the word object? Creating a word template and write to that?

You could write a Word document directly but you'd have to know a lot about the format. What you want is to use Office Automation, which is basically COM Interop to control an instance of the Word application.
