Why is the OpenFileDialog so slow on the desktop

I have an application that I have just finished developing a day or two ago. Now that it is finished, and I am testing it, I tried to use the Open File Dialog and it works fine. One poblem though...IT IS WAYY too slow when it loads to find a file on the Desktop. Why is my Open File Dialog so slow and what can I do to fix that.

it does take a second or two for your computer to load the openfiledialog, but it's not all that slow
