Vc++ dll

we are having a third party DLL. I want to use the function available in that DLL in our Vb.net project. I am unable to register that DLL using regsvr32 command & also adding that DLL as a reference in VB project also retuning error. This DLL is written in VC++

Is it possible to access that DLL with out register or adding as a reference in VB.net
