Hey,

I'm quite new to the world of programming. I installed VS.NET 2005 and SQL Server 2005 a few days ago.
I think the documentation that comes with them is great. Readable and short, so it doesn't scare you away unline some books.

Ofcourse there are updates for it. And I downloaded the freely acquirable MSDN Library May 2006 Edition and the 2006 July edition of Books Online.

Now how I installed them?

Do i uninstall Books Online from my computer and then install the package I downloaded off microsoft.com?
Or is that just an update that is only supposed to complement the help files already installed on my comptuter.

Same goes for MSDN Library May 2006 Edition. Do I first uninstall the files that were installed during VS installation
then install MSDN Library May 2006 Edition or do I just run MSDN Library May 2006 Edition?

Thanks for your help.

Installation instructions on that page says it updates earlier version of MSDN. SQL Books page lists some special cases.
