Running IIS 5.1, .NET Framework, and Visual Studio 2003 on Windows XP Professional.
Have a bespoke solution using a Web Service that uses IIS (virtual directory pointing
to project location). After building a HPdc7600 box with IIS, .NET Framework, then Visual
Studio the solution loads (the webservice project connects to IIS) and everything is hunky
dory. However after closing down the solution and reopening, and rebooting, the solution
gets to the web service project and can't connect (timesout). The aspnet_wp.exe process in
task manager, if ended during the timeout, then the solution will load however it won't run
a start aspx page after it has been successfully debugged. Other dev builds on other
machines e.g. dell work ok after some tweaking. Any ideas?
