Minimum Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience developing Windows based server-side software using object oriented techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills with a specific aptitude for rapidly identifying and resolving issues.
• Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or 2008
• Strong C# experience with .NET 2.0, 3.0 or 3.5 with relevant usage within the past 6 months.
• Multi-threaded server applications in high-performance, low-latency environments on multi-core platforms.
• 5+ years experience using profiling tools and techniques to optimize program flow and resource utilization
• 5+ years experience with software development lifecycle and release processes.
• 3+ years experience with use of a source control system like Subversion, CVS, Perforce
• Strong sense of teamwork with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledgeable working with N-tier architectures
• Experience with .NET Remoting and/or WCF
• Developing applications with SQL Server 2005/2008; object-relational mapping in high-volume environments is highly desired
• Experience with middleware messaging solutions (e.g. LBM, TIBCO, MSMQ)
• Modeling and communicating designs with UML (structural and behavioral modeling are required).
Desired Qualifications:
• 8+ years of software development
• Banking and/or financial services industry, with a focus on trading and risk management systems is a plus, but not required.
• Trading or financial messaging protocols, such as FIX, OUCH and DROP.
• Architectural design concepts and system design
• Experience with IP-multicast
• Strong sense of teamwork with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience leading a team of engineers
• Strength in planning projects and aligning engineers to tasks and plans
Salary range- $80,000 to $100,000
