run application in log-off state

How can i make sure the vb.net application keeps running when user logs off the system?

Yup..i initially tried with service but i couldnt change my program into service cos i m using mscomm which i inserted from COM.

Then i tried to create a service which call my program on start of service but i m not sure this is the way i should do.

Is there any solid way to make sure the program runs in log-off state not using service?
