Question Retrieving Palette from Image

Hey guys, what I need is for a way to have a picture box that would change the picture inside when I choose the specified item in a drop down box. Whatever image is then shown would have it's palette shown in multiple small boxes. Also, the colors in the boxes would be able to be changed to a different color and then it would change that color on the image. Any help would be great. Thanks.
