i already had that topic in the general discussion but just discoverd the reporting / printing section. sorry for that. but here it is again:
i have a sql database with diffrent products in it.
Now i would like to summarize all products to a list in a file with only the price
and certain details, so ill have an overview over all products.
Until now i had that list in a excel file with a certain format (headers colored
red, every second product with background color yellow, logo on top and so on). I would like to keep that format.
It will always takes the same properties from the product out of the db. So i just want to say which products (through id) it should take out the database and then generate a pdf file out of it. A3 format.
i checked crystal reports but im not sure if u can format it excatly as i want.
So is crystal reports the best solution or r there any better ones?? How should i do that?
