Location - Rhode Island (can not be done remotely, but might consider 4 day work week)
Length - 6 months to 1 year
Rate - commensurate with skills and experience (W2 hourly or corp-corp)
Required
· Must have a comprehensive understanding of the .NET Framework with a minimum of 6 Years US experience or 10 + years overall
· Must have a comprehensive understanding of .Net CLR
· Must have an understanding of Object-Oriented Development
· Must have a comprehensive understanding of developing scalable applications with SQL Server 2000 (including development experience in T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization)
· Must understand UML notations (class diagrams, sequence diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, activity diagrams, etc.)
· Experience building multi-tier, transactional web applications in the .NET Framework, with either VB.NET or C#
· A working knowledge of designing, coding, and debugging large-scale, enterprise-level, multi-tiered, distributed applications is highly desirable
Desired
· A working knowledge of Visual Studio.Net and Visual SourceSafe is highly desirable
· An understanding of XML messaging, XSL, and web services is highly desirable
· Understanding of Agile/Iterative development methodologies is highly desirable
· Experience with Test-Driven Development is highly desirable
· Experience with COM+, MSMQ, or BizTalk is highly desirable
· Experience with NUnit / JUnit is preferred
· An understanding of “Pattern” concepts is preferred
