.net application and the internet

I know this is a real basic question. I am serious. I have created a .net application. I already sold some on CD's which installs it on their computers.

QUESTION If I wanted to sell this by subscription lets say, and have buyers use the internet to use it, does this mean I need to have the .net application re-programmed in ASP.net OR is there a way in cloud-computering, that all the users would have to do is signed up via the cloud and start using the .net application.
