Question Linking to a table in a Word document?

I have a windows based data application and my customers want to output data to a table that resides in MS Word. They add new information to my application and want it to automatically update the table in Word. How could this be done? In other words, create outputs from a VB.NET Winforms app that appears in a Word table and updates it when the word document is opened, etc.?

Ideas?
