Insert an image through Data Table Adapter in Image Field??

aslam o alikum every body i want to know that how to insert an image field data like gif file or jpeg file through a datatable adapter in vb.net. it has to be inserted as byte but i dont know how to take my image from picture box as byte then use the data table adapter to do this. can some one here can help me? if some body give me his personal contact for future asistence i am very thankful to him
