how to retain data while moving between 2 forms

hi
i have got 2 forms.In the first form i have certain controls in which iam entering data.after entering the data i click the save button which is on MDI's Toolbar.and asa result iof that iam loosing all the data in the first form.Because
iam not able to access control's data.

Can anybody Please help me !!!
