How to better recruite .Net candidates?

What can I do to better myself at recruiting .Net candidates? Are there better places to look than careerbuilder, dice? These are the two sites my company pays for but I know there has to be websites out there or different avenues to find these candidates, I just don't know them. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well, maybe this site www.getafreelancer.com as well as www.rentacoder.com (good resources i would say)
Btw, are you looking for .NET programmers for permanent employment or freelancers who will work on project(s) ??? There is big difference.

Hey Chad,

Not sure where you're based, but here in the UK Jobserve.co.uk is a popular site for programmers. More internationally, monster.com is quite often checked by all.

Leaving a message like here you can also bring attention to you and find some good programmers but again i am telling that it depends on do you need programmers for permanent position job or just temporary ...
Many good programmers are already employed and they could work for you just as freelancers. You know what i mean

I have both contract and perm positions right now.

1 Contract(6 months) Position in Atlanta, GA .Net
3-4 Perm position in Memphis, TN 45-65k vb.net
1 contract 5-6 months in Memphis for VB6 developer
