Question How do i Attach My MS SQL Database to my Application witout Installing it

How do i Attach My MS SQL Database to my Application witout Installing it in the clients computer...i have the option of using MS Access and MS SQl server 2000...but which is better.and i think its awkward and not profesional having to install MS SQL server on any clients computer that would be running ur application....is there any shortcourt to this or is this what all developers do...and how do i seamlessly link my database to my application so when its installed the application would see the database.

Well SQL Server is not an embedded database engine. All you can do is to install an Express edition or use SQL Server Compact (smaller footprint)

Thanks Kulrom..but which would you prefer for a moderate application...MS SQl or MS access?
Why i would take Access cos its always by default in the microsoft office suite that is always on clients machine.

Ha i remember the time when i was advocating MS Access more than anyone here.
From this perspective it seems to be still the best solution for small applications.

Do you have a lot of objects to be rewritten (SP, Functions, Indexed Views etc.)?
If you don't, i would certainly suggest Access database.
