Help! add textbox and button to form

I'm new to using visual basic.net and I'm trying to build a caculator. I am not sure how to make text boxes or buttons though, can anyone point me in the right direction?

first off welcome to the forums

the easiest way to add controls to forms is to just double click them in the toolbar, so if you needed 4 labels, 2 textbox's and a button, just double click the label 4 times, the textbox twice and the button once and it'll make/add them to the form for you, just move them to where you need em and whatnot
