Freelance Rate?

hi guys, im a newbie here...

can anyone tell me what is the average rate for a freelance jobs nowadays (using vb.net 2005)...or will it depends on your own market value?... can anyone enlighten me please...

I think this would be a very hard question to answer as it "depends" on so many factors, such as your experience, what you are developing, where you live (or your customer lives), etc. Here is a good forum that may shed more light on your inquiry.
