Custom Controls forum?

I'm digging into make my own custom controls. I've read all the forum descriptions, and I'm not sure which one is the best to place my questions on.
-Third Party/Add-Ins
-Component Development
-Add-In Devlopment
-Using Components/Controls
These all seem not quite what I'm after.

I'm using Visual Studio 2005, and I'm creating controls to save myself repetitive programming in VB. The MSDN articles tend to talk in terms of Web Pages and ASP.NET for custom controls, which I don't use. And is therefore not very helpful. So which forum, if any would stear me in a helpful direction here? Help Please.

I'd choose VB.Net section, Component Development forum. But depending on the topic of the control development other forums could apply, for example if it was a specific Graphics/GDI+ related inquiry even if you were to use it in a custom control...
