Crystal Report runtime problem/question

I save an image into my database when i show image in crytal report it work fine. The problem is if one of the data do not have an images the blob field no clear it itself and showing the previous image. May i know how to clear the blob field or any solution to solve it?

I know that we can edit text field in crystal report without effect the database. Can some one teach me?
