Connecting scanner

Hi,

I am working on a graphics project using VB.Net. I need to connect a hardware device(scanner) to my application. My application demands that any cloth or paper that is scanned using the scanner directly appears in the picture box present in my application.I need to make it very user friendly hence it would be really great if the user could just scan whatever he wants(cloth or paper) and be able to directly view it in VB.

I posted this question on a anumber of forums,but nobody has replied. can you please help me?

Look into WIA (Window Image Aquisition).
I have seen a couple of examples at http://www.codeproject.com and there may be one at the version 2 of this site.
