Builidng P2P Applications using VB.net

This is my first post in this forum so I believe I can be excused if I am posting under the wrong heading

Basically, as a part of my final year project I have to build a P2P application using .NET Now I know that .NET provides many classes for this but I am wondering if there are some books you all could recommend which I might buy. Also any other resources would be helpful.

Peer-to-Peer with VB .NET by Matthew MacDonald is really helpful with a lot of insight on different methods. I would check it out.
