zip deployment

I couldn't find a reference to zipping in this forum.
I have deployed using CD-Rom, works Ok.
Is it possible to deploy using a Zipped file in place of the CD ?
So I could attach the zip to email?
Seems like it would work. If so, any good free zip utilities out there?

you could just google 'free compression utilities'



yes it would be possible to deploy using a zip file (i would think), but you would have to somehow specify the setup file to execute on extraction, from vb.net. there probably would be a parameter for it...
