WebClient

Hello - has anyone used WebClient before? I'm searching for some resources I can take a look at it to try to start becoming familiar with the usage of WebClient.
I am to use it to go to our website and perform an arbitrary number of fake transaction and measure response times and whatnot. Any help is greatly appreciated.
