Hi all,

I have Visual Studio 2005 and would like to start learning VB.Net. I looked at some tutorials but they refer to Visual Studio.NET - Does this mean I need a different version?

In VS2005 there is an option to create a Windows Application in VB, but is this just standard VB or VB.NET?

Thanks!

Mark.

visual studio 2005 IS visual studio.net. It means that rather than having the old vb runtime files visual basic and all other languages that ship with VS.Net run off the .net framework.

I don't know if there is an option to create a old style vb program in vs.net 2005, i seriously doubt it. there isn't one in vs.net 2003.
