Plus you answered your own question. The VB version IS 2005, or 8 if you want to get right down to it, although noone would call it version 8. 2.0 is the Framework version.

lmao.. they buy vb 2005 in 2006 and think it's v2006 even though it says vb 2005 all over the box and on every installation window as well as the startup window when they load it
