VB.Net calling MDI Child function from MDI form

Hye I m a beginner of VB.net
I ' ve a problem related to MDI ..........I ' m calling a function of an
MDIchildform which clears the field of active form (means MDIChildForm) of MDIParent but when I call that function from MDIParent then it doesn't clear my textbox value but if I call that function from that MDIChind Form then It Clears the text box .Plz give me the solution if u can

You would have to post the code so I can see what is going on. Post the sub on the child form and how you are calling it from the parent form.
