vb.net 205, how do i add a project template?

I'm brand new to doing this operation, and its been taking me two days to find the answer; and i havent. I've used the suggested readme.txt for my 3d engine of choice's method of placing the template zip file, and now im scouring the help files to learn how to do so.

I need to add a new project template because the 3d engine im using demands that i start with a new project template. I cant start with a windows application template. I have to put the projecttemplate.zip file some where. where do i put it, so when i fire up visualstudio 2005(vb.net), that i see and can choose the 3d engine project template in the list of project templates to start with?

In Visual Studio, main menu Tools, Options. Go to 'Project & Solutions' in tree view General. You can check/change Project Templates location here. (It's by default in your Documents folder in '\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ProjectTemplates')
